PROJECT OCCUPY: DAY#2

  • Feb 6
  • 2 min read

At Anthem Church, we believe you weren't meant to just attend a service—you were meant to occupy the territory God has promised us.

We are currently in a historic season, renovating two buildings at the same time in Hammond and Merrillville. But here is the truth: these aren't just construction projects. They are the future hubs for life change, community, and worship in our region.

Right now, we are standing at the threshold, and we need your hands to help us cross it.

When we launched Project Occupy, the goal was clear: clean out the old to make room for the new. On Day 1, over 100 of you showed up at 7105 to rip up carpet, clear out trash, and prep our classrooms.

But God isn’t slowing down, and neither can we. To transform these buildings into the welcoming, vibrant spaces our cities need, we need your unique skills and willing heart for Day 2.

How You Can Make an Impact

Whether you are a master craftsman or just someone who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty, there is a place for you on the team. We are looking for help with:

  • Interior Transformation: Painting and Vinyl Flooring installation.

  • Outdoor Refresh: Landscaping and curb appeal.

  • Final Touches: Assembling furniture and setting up classrooms.

  • General Labor: Helping move materials and clearing the way for progress.

Choose Your Location & Date

We are taking this mission to both cities. Mark your calendars and pick the date (or both!) that works for you:

Anthem Hammond: Project Occupy Day 2

  • When: February 21st

  • Where: 7105 (Hammond Location)

  • Focus: Continuing the momentum of our first workday to get the building ready for ministry.

Anthem Merrillville: Project Occupy Day 2

  • When: February 28th

  • Where: Merrillville Location (6349 Broadway in Merrillville)

  • Focus: Diving into the renovations for our second simultaneous expansion.

"When God told us to get ready to occupy, He meant right now."
