General Description
The Facilities Manager is responsible for maintaining the physical building and grounds associated with Anthem Church and its properties. This includes managing landscaping, building repairs, and ordering of supplies for Anthem church’s facilities. In addition, the facility manager support the day to day operation and church service needs related to building and facility preparation and maintenance. This position reports directly to the Experience Sr. Director.
Essential Job Functions
1. Manage landscaping, parking lot, and all exterior building maintenance and special projects.
2. Manage building repairs and ordering of supplies for organizations’ facilities.
3. Generate and maintain schedules for minor and major projects, driving them to full completion.
4. Assist in the coordination of construction and renovation projects.
5. Oversee direct and contractor personnel, such as repairmen, maintenance workers, supply managers, and landscapers, among others.
6. Organize and set up auditorium and office furniture, workstations, meeting spaces, special events and activities.
7. Lead communication with maintenance and building contractors, establishing contracts and agreements and carrying them out.
8. Develop annual plan facility preventative maintenance, facility care program, and facility improvement.
9. Assist in the development of an annual budget for building and facilities and manage spending to budget.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
This position requires a minimum of 5-7 years in maintenance or facility management. Voluntary certifications in this field, such as the Facilities Management Professional (FMP) or Certified Facility Manager (CFM) is a plus.
