BUILDING REOPENING GUIDELINES



We are currently hosting weekend gatherings at 10a on Sunday's outside in our front yard at 6947 Hohman Avenue in Hammond, Indiana. In the case of rain or inclement weather, we will make a decision by 7a on that Sunday morning & will move our Sunday service inside to our auditorium. As always, service will be streamed live.


See below for specifics, what to expect, as well as current guidelines for all physical, public indoor gatherings at Anthem Church:

SERVICE DETAILS

  • Social Distancing Required 

  • Masks Required unless you are seated and socially distanced.

  • Temperature Check at the door - Anyone exhibiting a temperature of 100 degrees or above will be refused entry into the building.  

  • Upon entry please use hand sanitizer.

  • No Anthem Kids or Misfit Students

  • Only the lobby, Main Auditorium, & Restrooms are currently open.

  • Due to our seating procedures, please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before service as it will take longer to seat everyone.

  • Greeters will direct you to stand in line and remain 6-feet from other households as you wait to be seated. 

  • Anthem gatherings will be a touch-less experience (no hugging, high fives, etc.)

  • The Café, Kitchen, and Anthem Kids areas are closed.nd disinfected before & after each service. 

  • All seat-back materials (paper, pens, connection cards) will be removed.

  • No Water Fountains will be open or available. Bottled water will be available. 

DURING SERVICE

  • The Café, Kitchen and Anthem Kids areas are closed.

  • When serving communion, we will use pre-packaged elements with careful serving procedures.

  • As we begin to meet again in person, please be prepared to observe the following guidelines. various comfort levels.ve online at any time HERE!

  • Restrooms will be available.

AFTER SERVICE

  • Ushers will dismiss by rows so that we can maintain social distancing during exiting. Please plan to go directly outside and to your vehicle.

  • As you are in the parking lot, please continue to social distance out of respect of others’ various comfort levels.

PROCEDURES

As we begin to meet again in-person, please be prepared to observe the following guidelines.

General Health and Safety

  • If you are not feeling well or exhibiting symptoms of illness, please stay home and enjoy the Livestream online.

  • Hand sanitizer will be strategically placed throughout the building for use.

  • Before and after service, the entire building will be sanitized.  This includes but is not limited to the bathrooms, water fountains, and chairs.

Social Distancing

  • Please seek to remain 6-feet from other households (families or individuals) and be respectful of others’ various comfort levels. Avoid physical contact with others such as hugging, shaking hands, and high fives.

  • Greeters, ushers, and other volunteers will follow social distancing guidelines.

  • Ushers will be seating households 6-feet apart from other household units. Additionally, households will be seated every other row.

  • At the conclusion of the service, we will dismiss rows. Please go directly outside to your car

OTHER MINISTRY GATHERINGS

All of our other ministry gatherings, other than our 21 Days of Prayer, will remain virtual until the end of summer.
